Abound Retreats
Abound Retreats are three-day, two-night gatherings designed to nourish, equip, and inspire ministry leaders across the Episcopal Church in Colorado. These retreats offer space to step away from daily responsibilities, connect with peers who share similar callings, and engage in conversation, prayer, and collaborative learning. Set in the peaceful beauty of Cathedral Ridge, Abound Retreats also provide intentional time for rest and recreation, helping leaders return home refreshed, grounded, and renewed in their ministry purpose.
Program Overview
Connect With Other Leaders
Abound Retreats create intentional space for ministry leaders to connect with peers who understand the unique joys and challenges of their work. Through shared meals, conversations, small groups, and time in community, participants build relationships that strengthen their ministries and their spirits. It’s a chance to step away from the familiar, meet new colleagues from across the diocese, exchange stories and insights, and discover a supportive network of leaders who walk alongside you in faith and vocation.
Support Each Other
These retreats create space for honesty, prayer, and mutual support. Leaders can share challenges, celebrate wins, exchange wisdom, and receive the kind of understanding that only colleagues in ministry can provide. It’s a time to be heard, lifted up, and reminded that you do not walk your ministry path alone.

Rest and Recreate
Set in the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains, these retreats intentionally weave in time for rest, recreation, and spiritual renewal. Leaders can hike, reflect, breathe deeply, and enjoy unhurried moments in creation. It’s a chance to step out of busyness, reconnect with God, and return to ministry refreshed in body, mind, and spirit.

Abound Retreat Details:
Lodging and Meals
Abound Retreat participants stay in Lupine Lodge, where each private room includes two queen beds and a personal bathroom—comfortable, quiet, and perfect for unwinding after a full day of learning and connection.
Meals are enjoyed together in our Dining Hall, where guests are served fresh, nourishing food with accommodations for most dietary needs. Shared meals offer a relaxed space to build relationships, exchange ideas, and enjoy the hospitality of Cathedral Ridge.
Registration
Registering for an Abound Retreat is easy. Simply visit our Registration page and follow the link to our secure CampBrain portal. Create an account (or log in), select your session, and add guests as prompted. Once your registration is complete, you’ll receive a Pre-Camp Information Packet about a month before camp with everything you need to prepare—packing tips, schedules, check-in details, and more.
Cancellation Policy
In the case of serious accident, illness, or other extenuating circumstances, refunds will be provided at the discretion of the Executive Director. We cannot refund your deposit after registration unless Cathedral Ridge cancels the event. Any camper whose behavior disrupts the program will be dismissed with no refund. Campers/ Guests found possessing controlled substances, nonprescription drugs, alcohol, tobacco, firearms, fireworks or weapons will be dismissed with no refund. For cancellations made less than two weeks before the first day of a camp ore retreat session, we will refund 50%.
